He was extremely tame.  Did not move while I fetched the camera and took it to Peter, who was standing really close to him - just stayed there in the tree looking around.  We've seen them drink from our swimming pool but unlike the kookaburras, they never go for a swim.

We don't encourage cockatoos as they are known to strip all the timber off a house for reasons unknown.  Theories for this behaviour are boredom or that someone has stopped feeding them.
