Laughing Kookaburra
Pronounced Cook-uh-bar-ra
September 29, 2003.  Hanging around waiting for a snack.  We are very fond of this group that visits daily - 5 in the group.  March, 2007 - now 6 in the group - 1 of the babies stayed.

They have been coming since the day we returned to our house in Sydney, Australia after having lived in Florida for 11 years.  Kookaburras are so similar in appearance that we can't tell them apart.  Believe me, we've tried.
